TenderWise

FOR ESTIMATORS & QS TEAMS

The first pass through a tender pack, done before you start pricing.

TenderWise reads the tender documentation, extracts scope and quantities, flags the assumptions worth querying, and hands your estimator a structured first-draft estimate to price—not an unexplained total.

THE PROBLEM

Estimators spend too much time before they start pricing.

Most of an estimator's day disappears before a single rate is applied. The documents have to be read, the scope rebuilt, and the same ground covered again on the next tender.

01 VOLUME

Reading hundreds of pages

A tender pack arrives as drawings, specifications, schedules and addenda in inconsistent formats. Reading it end to end is unavoidable and rarely fits the return date.

02 SCATTER

Rebuilding scope by hand

Requirements sit across separate documents that contradict each other. Assembling them into a coherent scope is manual work repeated on every enquiry.

03 REPETITION

Starting from scratch each time

The same document review, the same take-off structure, the same clarification questions—rebuilt from nothing on every tender that lands.

HOW IT WORKS

Four steps from tender pack to priced estimate.

Four steps from tender pack to priced estimate, with an estimator's judgement at the end of each one.

STEP 01 · UPLOAD

Upload the tender pack

Drawings, specifications, schedules, preliminaries and addenda together, in the formats the client issued them in.

STEP 02 · AI REVIEW

TenderWise reads every document

The pack is analysed as a whole, so requirements stated in one document and qualified in another are connected rather than read in isolation.

STEP 03 · FIRST DRAFT

A structured basis to price

Scope organised into packages with measured quantities, every line traceable to the document it came from, and the open questions listed rather than buried.

STEP 04 · FINAL REVIEW

Check the findings against the documents, correct what the model got wrong, apply your rates and commercial judgement, then issue.

TAKE-OFFS & QUANTITIES

A draft take-off you check, not one you trust.

A draft take-off is a starting point for measurement, not a substitute for it. TenderWise sets out what it measured and where each figure came from, so checking it is faster than building it.

01

Quantities traced to source

Every measured line references the drawing or schedule it derives from, so a quantity can be checked against the document rather than taken on trust.

Verify against the drawing
02

Structured to a recognisable order

Work is grouped into packages that follow the way a bill of quantities is normally arranged, so the draft maps onto the structure your estimate already uses.

Organised by work package
03

Gaps stated, not silently priced

Where the documentation will not support a measurement, TenderWise records the gap as a question instead of inventing a quantity to fill it.

Query before pricing

FEATURES

Built for real estimating workflows.

Six capabilities you can inspect and correct—each one leaving a trace back to the source document.

01 TRACEABILITY

Source grounded

Every finding links to the original tender documentation, so a disputed line is settled by opening the document rather than re-reading the pack.

02 GAPS

Assumption detection

Missing, ambiguous or contradictory information is surfaced before pricing, when a clarification still costs nothing.

03 STRUCTURE

Package breakdown

Scope is organised into work packages ready for enquiry, comparison and pricing.

04 CLARITY

Pricing questions

Clarification items are collected as a list to send, answer or carry explicitly into the estimate as a stated assumption.

05 CONTROL

Fully editable

Nothing is locked. Quantities, packages, assumptions and rates can all be changed before the estimate leaves your hands.

06 SCALE

Large tender support

Multi-document packs running to hundreds of pages are handled in one pass, including the revisions that arrive mid-tender.

THE PRINCIPLE

AI assists. Estimators decide.

TenderWise is not built to replace experienced estimators or quantity surveyors. It removes the repetitive document review that precedes pricing, so the hours go into commercial judgement instead of reading.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Does TenderWise replace estimators?

No. TenderWise prepares a structured first draft from the tender documentation. Measurement is checked, rates are applied and every commercial decision is made by the estimator. The tool removes the document-reading, not the judgement.

How accurate is the automated take-off?

It is a draft to check, not a measure to trust. Every quantity references the drawing or schedule it came from precisely so that verifying it is quicker than producing it from scratch. Where the documents do not support a measurement, TenderWise raises a question rather than estimating a figure.

Can I edit everything it produces?

Yes. Scope, quantities, package structure, assumptions and rates are all editable before you generate a final estimate, and earlier versions stay available.

Does it work for bills of quantities and NRM-based estimates?

TenderWise organises scope into work packages that map onto the structure of a standard bill of quantities, so the draft fits the way most estimates are already built. It does not issue a formally measured bill in its own right—the output is a priceable basis you finish in your own format.

Does it support M&E tenders?

Yes. Mechanical, electrical, HVAC and general construction packages are all supported, including tenders that combine several of them.

Can I upload a complete tender pack?

Yes. Upload drawings, specifications, schedules and supporting documents together—TenderWise reads them as one pack so requirements split across documents are connected.
